Another Inappropriate Welcome
This one’s for Wes. Goofy like his dice, creepy like his Daft Robin.
Test Your Might
So, for about a week I’ve been trying to find a “welcome to the blogosphere!” clip for Amanda that is cute, obnoxious, and sinister. You know, like a kender. This is the best I could come up with.
And with that, a hearty welcome. How ’bout some blogging advice? Don’t let the fact that you may not have posted for a month or so prevent you from posting at all. I mean, I don’t.
The Powers of Nostalgia: Rusty is the man…tin can?
I’d like to begin a series of posts, of say, 32948 parts, about things which I find nostalgic. The themes may range from when I lived on main street and was on a bender for the better part of a summer, or the cartoons I watched while eating cereal as a child. Today it’s the latter.
I watched The Tales of the Wizard of Oz while eating cereal every weekday morning before elementary school. Obviously, this cartoon is quite old, even for a child of the eighties, and I couldn’t wait for it to finish and Astroboy or Inspector Gadget to begin.
It still left an impression and I have found myself recalling the name’s of the characters years later. It’s something special to have the scarecrow with no brains called Socrates.
Thanks go to Dr. Braino for posting these clips on youtube.
